Adagio

This short series of images is inspired by J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variation Number 25 in G minor, tempo marked ‘Adagio’ by the composer.

The timeless beauty of the human form is honored with these figures, each representing the vertical musical notation of chords.

The 7 images represent the 7 notes of the G minor scale used in the 25th variation, rich in dark beauty, strength, melancholy, and a reflection of the adagio tempo.
